Montgomery is a project born from a single detail. The Australian knot, the lacing that characterises the Montgomery coats of the ‘80s and ‘90s, was the cornerstone and the focus of the project. The lines of the armchair and the small armchair, which recall the 1970s collections of some historic designers, are a frame that revolves around this detail. We all tend to design beautiful chairs when seen from the front, but in reality in the home you always see the chair from the back because it faces the table.
